Job description

Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, Digital Wholesale, the Assistant Digital Merchandiser will support the execution of Cole Haan's digital merchandising strategy across key North American wholesale partners, primarily Amazon and Zappos. This role will coordinate product launches, merchandising calendars, site updates, Brand Store and product detail page enhancements, and ongoing digital shelf maintenance. The candidate will use performance insights, consumer behavior, and competitive trends to identify opportunities that improve product discoverability, conversion, and the overall expression of the Cole Haan brand. This is an exciting opportunity to join Cole Haan during a transformational period in the brand's evolution.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive digital wholesale merchandising calendar, coordinating launches, promotions, content updates, and key partner milestones.
  • Support the development and execution of digital launch strategies in partnership with Account Executive teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Conduct routine digital shelf audits across Amazon, Zappos, and other assigned partners to ensure accuracy, availability, consistency, and a strong expression of the Cole Haan brand.
  • Continually optimize the digital wholesale consumer journey in partnership with Wholesale Marketing, Brand Design, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Use analytics and consumer insights to identify and prioritize Brand Store, PDP, content, onsite search, navigation, and conversion opportunities.
  • Collaborate on the creation and launch of product-specific landing pages, promotional banners, and content supporting new releases, seasonal events, and Cole Haan marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate asset delivery, implementation, and post-launch quality assurance with internal teams and external partners.
  • Communicate digital performance, key learnings, launch results, and optimization opportunities through recurring reports and cross-functional business reviews.
  • Monitor competitive activity, marketplace trends, and emerging digital merchandising best practices, translating relevant learnings into actionable recommendations.
  • Help identify and resolve digital shelf issues, including missing or inaccurate content, broken variations, navigation gaps, and other customer-experience defects.

  • 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, site merchandising, marketplace management, or a related field, with a focus on digital optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience supporting product detail pages, digital content, site updates, or product launches within an e-commerce or marketplace environment.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Amazon digital merchandising, including exposure to Brand Stores, PDP or A+ Content, and retail media performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify key metrics, interpret performance, and translate insights into actions that improve the consumer journey.
  • Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, dependencies, and day-to-day details.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and experience conducting quality assurance across product, content, or site experiences.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and advocate for digital-channel needs within a cross-functional, omnichannel organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to sales, conversion, and customer-experience objectives through merchandising, content, or digital optimization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Minimal travel required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Ads, Pacvue, or comparable marketplace and retail media platforms.
  • Experience with Zappos or other digital wholesale marketplace.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or another image-editing platform.
  • Spanish-language proficiency.
  • Experience in footwear, fashion, accessories, or another consumer retail category.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with formulas, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis, reporting, and organizing large datasets.

Base Salary/Hourly Range: From $70,000 to $85,000 annually*
