The Manager of Digital Merchandising is responsible for defining and executing the digital merchandising strategy across multiple product categories, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience that drives commercial performance and reinforces the Tommy Hilfiger brand.
This role owns the translation of assortment and marketing strategies into compelling online product experiences, leveraging data, customer insights, and brand storytelling to maximize sales, conversion, engagement, and meet financial targets. The Manager is accountable for the end-to-end customer journey across key digital touchpoints, including homepage, navigation, PLPs, PDPs, recommendation modules, and email merchandising.
In addition to leading day-to-day merchandising execution, this role partners closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, optimize performance, and advance the evolution of digital merchandising capabilities, tools, and processes. The Manager also leads and develops a team of Digital Merchandisers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
The role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence across a broad set of stakeholders, including Ecommerce, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Content, Creative Studio, Digital Operations, IT, and Analytics teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Digital Merchandising Strategy & Execution
  • Own and execute digital merchandising strategies across assigned categories to deliver sales, conversion, and profitability goals.
  • Develop compelling product and content experiences that support assortment priorities while maintaining brand elevation and consistency.
  • Drive product storytelling and customer-centric merchandising initiatives across key digital touchpoints.
  • Own category storefront experiences, including homepage, navigation, PLPs, PDPs, product sequencing, recommendation modules, search refinements.
  • Lead execution of key product launches, capsules, collaborations, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Create and manage homepage and content briefs in partnership with Content, Creative Studio, and Marketing teams.
  • Ensure products are web-ready through effective management of product information and digital asset readiness within PIM systems.

Performance Optimization & Analytics
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret site performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Translate business insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Analytics and Ecommerce teams to measure merchandising effectiveness and customer behavior.
  • Conduct weekly business reviews.
  • Analize product assortment performance and provide recommendations to Merchandising team.
  • Monitor staging and live environments to identify and resolve site issues.
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and emerging industry trends.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Build strong partnerships across Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Marketing, Media, Email, Content, Studio, Digital Operations, Analytics, and IT teams.

People Leadership
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Digital Merchandisers.
  • Establish clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations for direct reports.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and team development.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Ecommerce, Digital Merchandising, Site Merchandising, or related retail disciplines.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring team members preferred.
  • Experience working with ecommerce platforms, product information management systems, and digital merchandising tools.
  • Experience supporting platform migrations, site re-platforming initiatives, or large-scale ecommerce transformations is a plus.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree

Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and retail math.
  • Ability to translate data and customer insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to train and develop talent.
  • Experience with PIM systems (STIBO preferred), Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and digital customer journeys.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies, systems, and processes quickly.
  • Strong aesthetic and merchandising sensibility.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in decision-making.

Pay Range:$104,500---$141,200
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. PVH is committed to providing a market-competitive total rewards package to eligible associates, which includes diverse and robust health and insurance benefits to meet the varied needs of our associates and an above-market 401(k) contribution to help our associates save for retirement. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
