Superior Communications is looking for a Digital Commerce & Marketplace Specialist for our Baldwin Park, California location.


The Digital Commerce & Marketplace Specialist will support and grow our ecommerce and marketplace initiatives, with a primary focus on Amazon. This role combines marketplace operations, digital merchandising, reporting, promotional execution, and data-driven ecommerce strategy.

The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and creatively driven; capable of managing day-to-day marketplace operations while also identifying opportunities to improve product visibility, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and overall marketplace growth.

This position works closely with our internal Marketing, Procurement, Warehouse, IT, and external marketplace support contacts to support operational excellence and drive ecommerce performance.


You will be responsible for...

Marketplace Account Management

  • Monitor and maintain Amazon account health across multiple marketplace accounts
  • Investigate and resolve listing, compliance, and account-related issues
  • Maintain seller feedback and assist with customer review-related cases
  • Handle Amazon infringement and unauthorized seller cases as needed
  • Support ongoing marketplace operational tasks and troubleshooting

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Procurement, Customer Service, warehouse teams, IT, and external marketplace support contacts
  • Participate in recurring operational, promotional, and roadmap meetings
  • Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented team environment
  • Present marketplace insights, recommendations, and performance trends to internal stakeholders as needed

Reporting, Analytics & Performance Insights

  • Generate and analyze advertising and marketplace performance reports and

translate insights from the data into actionable recommendations related to promotions, advertising strategy, inventory planning, content optimization, and product visibility

  • Download, maintain, and organize marketplace and inventory data
  • Analyze sales, inventory, advertising, and marketplace performance trends to identify opportunities and risks
  • Monitor inventory replenishment needs and marketplace SKU performance
  • Monitor keyword trends, traffic performance, customer behavior, and competitor activity to support marketplace growth initiatives
  • Proactively identify underperforming areas and recommend solutions that improve conversion, traffic, and revenue performance

Advertising & Promotions

  • Monitor and optimize Amazon advertising campaign performance
  • Assist with promotional planning and execution for marketplace listings
  • Coordinate promotion details with the Marketing team, including SKU lists, campaign timing, and discount structures
  • Submit advertising invoices and related reporting to internal teams
  • Contribute ideas for ongoing campaigns, marketplace initiatives, and digital growth opportunities

Product Listings & Content Support

  • Create and maintain Amazon product listings
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team on listing content, updates, approvals, and marketplace execution
  • Support Amazon storefront and webstore operations
  • Ensure listings meet marketplace standards and compliance requirements
  • Support A+ Content, digital merchandising initiatives, listing enhancements, and content optimization efforts
  • Help identify opportunities to improve listing quality, customer engagement, and overall marketplace presentation

Inventory & Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate Amazon inventory transfers and FBA shipment processes
  • Create shipment labels and coordinate fulfillment requests with warehouse teams
  • Work with Procurement team on purchase order requests related to Amazon operations
  • Coordinate inventory-related communication with Procurement team and other pertinent internal teams
  • Monitor inventory trends and communicate potential risks or replenishment opportunities

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide customer support for Amazon marketplace customers with clear written communication skills
  • Respond to customer inquiries, order issues, and account-related cases
  • Coordinate with management to resolve escalated issues
  • Work with IT, backend support teams, and marketplace support contacts to troubleshoot operational or system-related issues
  • Support process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience

  • Experience working with Amazon Seller Central and ecommerce marketplace platforms, including marketplace management, listing optimization, and operational support.
  • Experience with Amazon A+ Content, storefront management, digital merchandising, and marketplace content optimization.
  • Amazon advertising or PPC experience
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce performance metrics and marketplace analytics, with the ability to identify trends, uncover growth opportunities, and drive data-informed business decisions.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive tasks to completion
  • Creative problem-solver with strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Inventory coordination and reporting experience
  • Familiarity with ecommerce backend systems and operational workflows


Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital commerce and marketplace platforms

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
