JOB SUMMARY
Join our ecommerce team as a Senior Digital Merchandising Manager and play a key role in shaping how customers discover and shop across the Weissman (B2B) and Dancewear Solutions (B2C) websites. In this leadership role, you will drive digital merchandising strategy, optimize product discoverability, and lead initiatives that improve engagement, conversion, and overall ecommerce performance.
You'll collaborate closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, and IT to ensure seamless product launches and high-performing digital experiences. From managing product ranking and recommendation strategies to analyzing site performance and identifying growth opportunities, you will directly influence the customer journey. This is an opportunity for a data-driven leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and team leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead digital merchandising strategy across ecommerce platforms to improve product discoverability, engagement, and conversion
  • Oversee seasonal and new product launches, ensuring site readiness across content, merchandising, and presentation
  • Optimize product ranking, search performance, and recommendation strategies based on customer behavior and business priorities
  • Plan and execute A/B testing initiatives to continuously improve merchandising performance
  • Analyze site performance and customer behavior data to identify opportunities for improved navigation, conversion, and engagement
  • Enhance go-live processes for product launches by introducing tools, workflows, and efficiencies
  • Align merchandising strategies with marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives
  • Manage relationships with third-party ecommerce and merchandising technology vendors, including performance evaluation and optimization
  • Partner cross-functionally with IT and business teams to troubleshoot issues and improve site functionality
  • Lead and develop a direct report, establishing priorities, workflows, and execution standards for merchandising initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field (preferred)
Experience
  • 7 to 9 years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, web merchandising, or related fields
  • Experience within retail or ecommerce environments, including collaboration with merchandising teams
  • 4 to 6 years of direct people management experience
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and ecommerce technology platforms

Knowledge, Skills + Abilities
  • Strong expertise in digital merchandising strategy, including product discovery, cross-selling, and site optimization
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience using web analytics tools (e.g., GA4)
  • Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in conversion, engagement, and product discoverability
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience partnering with IT teams to implement ecommerce enhancements
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills across cross-functional teams
  • Strong operational planning skills, especially supporting seasonal launches and promotions
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts
