  • 10 years minimum of project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of land development engineering principles, including stormwater management, grading and drainage design, permitting, and regulatory standards.
  • Prior experience successfully managing and leading a team.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven client relationship and business development success in the land development sector.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Thorough understanding of all phases of land development project design and delivery.
  • Professional approach aligned with collaboration, integrity, respect, active listening, sound judgment, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deliverables and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with Civil 3D, MicroStation, and HydroCAD.
  • Established relationships with private developers, municipal clients, agency partners, or land development decision-makers.
  • Experience leading distributed teams or project managers across multiple office locations.
  • Active involvement in professional organizations, business boards, or community development activities.

Why Join Fisher

  • Shape meaningful infrastructure, development, and community outcomes through work that has visible local and regional impact.
  • Grow in a collaborative culture where accessible leaders welcome ideas, feedback, ownership, and professional development.
  • Build your career through mentorship, technical learning, leadership opportunities, and exposure to multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Thrive in a flexible, team-driven environment that values quality, accountability, work-life balance, and long-term success.
  • Lead with influence by developing people, strengthening client relationships, and helping guide the growth of Fisher’s land development practice.

Compensation + Benefits

Salary range: $140,000-$175,000

  • Competitive compensation; actual pay varies based on experience, qualifications, education, and other factors and excludes the value of benefits.
