Position Overview:
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for sourcing candidates and joining forces with the marketing team to build campaigns around those connections. The Business Development Associate will help the team navigate CrossCountry Mortgage's database, find, recruit, and hire Branch Managers across the country.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Create targeted sourcing strategies for Loan Officers; conduct industry and candidate prospect research; identify and utilize multiple recruitment sources to develop a pool of candidates.

  • Source, screen, evaluate and recommend a diverse list of candidates and maintain a network of contacts within the mortgage banking industry.

  • Manage a virtual assistant to make cold calls and schedule appointments.

  • Handle all email invitations, text reminders, initial calls, follow-up, and live/virtual recruiting efforts with the Regional Vice President.

  • Work closely with respective Branch Managers to include presenting candidate(s), consulting and advising on effective recruiting strategies and techniques.

  • Participate in weekly update meetings with the leadership team to advise on recruiting strategy progress.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1 years' experience recruiting in any industry, required.

  • 2+ years' phone sourcing and engaging talent, a plus.

  • Salesforce experience, a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
