Job description

  • Managed IT Desktop’s asset inventory and portfolio, including purchase, deployment, utilization tracking, redeployment, maintenance coverage plans/agreements, retirement, disposal of software and hardware.
  • Provides day-to-day consultation, training, instruction and troubleshooting or problem-solving to technical staff and end users for hardware, software, and related computer systems.
  • Perform reconciliation with the Procurement team on Cost Center.
  • Perform Receipt Purchase order with Account Payable over the procurement system.
  • Research & update new hardware and/or vendor for IT Desktop
  • End user support for handheld and peripheral devices.
  • Create SNOW ticket to update or improve the current or new process with automation.
  • Implement performance upgrades to PCs, including the installation of CPUs, I/O and NIC cards, ribbon cables, hard drives, RAM, CD-ROMs, etc.
  • Maintain IT inventory.
  • Document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Onsite branch/ department support.
  • Handle the ticketing system, phone and email support.
  • Support may be required in emergencies, either in-person or remotely, and sometimes after normal business hours.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

  • Fundamental understanding of IT Asset Procurement & Tracking
  • Fundamental understanding of Inventory Management & Analysis
  • Basic knowledge of IT Desktop’s Vendor Management
  • Compliance Tracking and management
  • Basic knowledge of Service Now & Visio
  • Required: Ability to troubleshoot PC problem & basic network issue.
  • Required: Intermediate Microsoft product knowledge (OS & Office suite).
  • Required: Strong customer service skill.
  • Required: Strong foundation of MS Windows OS which include AD and GPO
  • Required: Familiarity with various MS products which include MS O365
  • Preferred: Research new technology to benefit Desktop operation.

The salary range for this full-time position is $21.64 - $22.60 hourly + bonus + benefits
