Solution Architect - CSC TechOps (i7)

CSC technical engagements are designed to support sales pipeline development and facilitate the successful closure of sales opportunities. These opportunities hinge on the successful execution of test plans, ultimately guiding customers toward their final purchasing decisions.

This role will be part of our CSC TechOps (Technical Operations) which has responsibilities for supporting our Global Labs infrastructure and developing solutions to accelerate our abilities to deploy, maintain, secure and evolve our capabilities to showcase/validate desired customer outcomes.

What you'll achieve

As a Solution Architect within the Dell Customer Solution Centers (CSC), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers' confidence in the proposed solutions and architectures. Our Mission is to be a trusted advisor to our customers/partners. To develop, retain and win business for Dell Technologies.

You will:

 

  • Provide operational and technical support for lab infrastructure, with primary responsibility as well as manage and resolve operational support tickets, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution
  • Perform and support daily operational activities to maintain system stability and availability
  • Collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple regions and time zones
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating existing processes and proposing more efficient solutions
  • Contribute to the overall operational stability and long-term sustainability of the Round Rock operations team

Essential Requirements

  • Experience of Linux and Windows system administration
  • Experience of working with Hypervisors
  • Knowledge of Active Directory/DNS and Knowledge of Scripting - PowerShell/PowerCLI
  • Experience of working with Server and Storage solutions
  • Experience of basic Network management and configurations

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $113,050- $146,300.
