What is a Dealership BDC?

A Dealership BDC, or Business Development Center, is a department within a car dealership that handles customer communications and follow-ups, primarily through phone calls, emails, and online inquiries. The BDC team is responsible for setting appointments, responding to leads, and nurturing potential buyers to help drive showroom traffic and sales. They play a crucial role in improving customer service and increasing sales opportunities by ensuring timely and professional interactions with both prospective and existing customers.

Continuous training on customer service and dealership products also helps representatives provide accurate information and build rapport with clients.
