Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NC Processor to join our fast-paced design team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing data for milling that accurately capture and display design intent. You'll play a key part in the modeling process, assisting with builds, determining the best tools and techniques for accurate execution within project timelines and constraints, and applying your deep understanding of NC procession. This position requires strong collaboration skills, as you will translate technical data, interface with multiple departments and personnel, and build relationships across all levels of the design team to achieve our shared goals.

  • Proficient in NC Processing and Milling equipment operations.
  • Three year industry experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 year industry experience.
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Suite and standard office software like Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation, including prints, engineering sections, hip zones, hard points, draft angles, part breakups, die lock conditions, verification points, etc.
  • High level of problem-solving ability, including the capacity to troubleshoot difficult situations and manage critical timing schedules effectively.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Develop high-fidelity physical models (interior and exterior) that effectively communicate design intent in an fast-paced environment.
  • Assist in model builds, strategically selecting the most effective tools and techniques to ensure accurate execution within studio timing and constraints.
  • Apply a high level of technical aptitude and competency in model development and armature set up techniques.
  • Utilize Tebis software to create 5-axis cutter paths for various milling equipment  
  • Collect, coordinate, collaborate, and translate technical data for multiple departments.
  • Interface effectively with all levels of the design team, fostering strong working relationships to achieve project goals.
  • Be willing to work as project demands require including operation of milling equipment.
