As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting the appraisal process by gathering and entering property information, maintaining files, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This position provides valuable exposure to the real estate appraisal industry and offers opportunities to learn new skills while contributing to a growing local business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and obtain public records, property information, and real-time real estate data from various online and local sources.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain property data within company databases and appraisal software.
- Verify information for accuracy and completeness while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems in accordance with company procedures.
- Communicate professionally with team members, municipalities, and other contacts as needed.
- Assist with administrative and clerical tasks to support daily business operations.
- Prioritize multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong research skills with the ability to locate and verify public record and property-related information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, including Google Docs and Sheets.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous data entry, administrative, office support, or customer service experience.
- Familiarity with real estate, property records, or appraisal-related work is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to learn new software systems and procedures quickly.
