Job Title: Data Entry Operator
Location: Valparaiso, IN (100% Onsite)
Contract Duration: 4 Months (with possible extensions)
Rate: $20 - $24/hr (W2)
Position Overview
The Data Entry Operator - Senior is responsible for performing advanced, high-volume data entry across multiple systems while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency. This role requires strong attention to detail, independent decision-making, and the ability to support process improvements and guide other team members once fully trained. The position operates in a fully onsite environment and supports departmental data integrity and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced alpha and numeric data entry across multiple systems
  • Support multiple data entry tasks, including data cleanup and validation
  • Proof work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures
  • Prioritize work by coding, sorting, and organizing data inputs
  • Correct errors identified during visual inspection or review processes
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and tracking documentation
  • Generate reports based on entered data
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Make independent decisions related to planning, organizing, and scheduling assigned work
  • Provide guidance to staff after gaining proficiency in processes and systems
  • Assist with development of simple standard operating practices for data entry tasks
