Our strengths rely heavily on our field experience, equipment performance feedback knowledge, application engineering know-how, as well as design, testing, manufacturing, and distribution experience.

We continuously seek the best talent around the world and, at this moment, we have an opening in the following position: Customer Experience Engineer located in Miami, Florida.

Position Objective:

This position is responsible for supporting the sales and engineering teams by managing various aspects of the sales process and ensuring the smooth operation of sales activities within the power transmission and wind industry sector. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively are required. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-centric approach to fulfill duties.

I. Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales and engineering teams in preparing proposals, quotes, and presentations for potential projects.
  • Calculate the costs and margins for all proposals requested by the commercial department.
  • Obtain budget proposals from the procurement department.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as engineering, finance, and operations to gather relevant information for proposals and ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage customer inquiries and provide prompt and accurate responses to address their needs and requirements.
  • Maintain and update CRM database with client information, sales activities, and project status.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales collateral, promotional materials, and digital content to help salespeople.
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Create technical field surveys and feasibility/risk assessments.
  • Assist with the creation of sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Offer administrative assistance to the sales and engineering teams.
  • Provide support to manage the Sales Team's Key Performance Indicators.
  • Gather the necessary inputs to generate technical solution proposals.
  • Stay up to date on industry regulations, technological advancements, and market developments in the power transmission and wind energy industries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

II. Administrative and Technical Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, order management, and sales support processes.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including both sales and after-sales support.
  • Advanced CRM user-level knowledge, with the ability to maintain accurate customer, sales, and project information.
  • Solid understanding of industrial operations and procurement/purchasing processes.
  • Strong technical knowledge of power systems and wind energy.
  • General knowledge of industrial components such as bearings, gears, and engineering chains.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and user-level knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
