Key Responsibilities | Curriculum Leadership



  • Lead the implementation and refinement of the school's curriculum across all classrooms (infants through Pre-K).
  • Support fidelity of established programs including Learning Without Tears, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, and Bible curriculum.
  • Ensure classroom instruction aligns with developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood learning standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate curriculum effectiveness and implement improvements.

Teacher Support & Instructional Coaching



  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional strategies.
  • Effective early childhood teaching practices and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Support teachers in creating engaging learning environments that support social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Encourage reflective teaching practices and professional growth.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • Experience teaching in an early childhood classroom
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
  • Ability to mentor and support teachers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred


  • Master's degree in early childhood education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field
  • Experience in instructional coaching, curriculum leadership, or program administration
  • Experience with early literacy programs and preschool curriculum development
  • Familiarity with Texas licensing requirements and professional development systems such as TECPDS
