Job description

Texoma Medical Center is seeking a passionate Family Medicine Physician to join our esteemed Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program in Denison, Texas.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Reporting to the Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program, you'll serve as a clinical instructor, guiding residents through didactic activities, curriculum development, and administrative tasks.
  • Your role involves ensuring program compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards, overseeing residents during clinical activities, and providing mentorship to enhance their educational experience.
  • As a Core Faculty member, your responsibilities include devoting a significant portion of your time to instruction, patient care, and scholarly activities within the Family Medicine Residency Program.
  • You'll actively participate in teaching, curriculum development, resident evaluations, and recruitment efforts, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  • Ideal candidates will be board-certified or eligible with relevant internship and residency experience, including obstetrics. An active Texas license is highly preferred, along with additional qualifications such as obstetrics fellowship or expertise in prenatal care and medication-assisted treatment of opioid abuse.
