The Hampton Inn & Suites / Home2 Suites Austin Eastside 5th Street, managed by Vista Host Management & Development Company, combines two trusted Hilton brands under one roof, offering accommodations for both short- and extended-stay travelers. Conveniently located in Austin's vibrant Eastside district, the hotel provides easy access to downtown Austin, the Capitol Complex, the University of Texas, Dell Medical School, local healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, and major corporate offices. POSITION SUMMARY
The Corporate Sales Manager is a proactive, relationship-driven sales professional responsible for generating revenue through the development and management of the Business Transient (BT), Local Negotiated Rate (LNR), and small corporate group segments. This position focuses on identifying new corporate business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, increasing market share, and maximizing room revenue through strategic account management.
The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing a targeted sales plan designed to increase negotiated corporate accounts, drive weekday occupancy, and strengthen the hotel's presence within the Austin business community. Success in this role requires strong prospecting skills, outside sales experience, market knowledge, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with local and regional businesses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and grow the hotel's Business Transient (BT) portfolio through proactive solicitation of local and regional corporate accounts.
  • Generate new Local Negotiated Rate (LNR) agreements by identifying qualified corporate prospects and conducting outside sales appointments.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, cold calling, site tours, referrals, and lead follow-up.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, client appointments, and networking activities to build relationships with key decision-makers, travel managers, executive assistants, and corporate buyers.
  • Develop strategic account plans for top-producing and target accounts to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Negotiate preferred corporate rates, contracts, and account agreements that align with hotel revenue strategies.
  • Partner with Revenue Management to ensure negotiated corporate accounts remain competitive while maximizing ADR and RevPAR.
  • Review production reports and account performance to identify growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies as needed.
  • Analyze STR reports, market intelligence, competitor activity, and demand trends to identify opportunities within the BT market.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure flawless execution of corporate guest expectations and service delivery.
  • Represent the hotel at chamber events, networking functions, industry associations, and community organizations to expand market visibility.
  • Maintain accurate account activity, sales call reports, and client information within the hotel's CRM and sales systems.
  • Achieve monthly sales activity goals, revenue objectives, and annual budget targets.
  • Assist with special projects and additional sales initiatives as assigned by hotel leadership.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 3 years of hotel sales experience, with demonstrated success in Business Transient (BT), Local Negotiated Rate (LNR), or corporate account sales preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate new business through prospecting, outside sales, and relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of Hilton sales processes, hotel revenue management principles, and corporate travel programs is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze production reports, market trends, and account performance to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and hotel sales software, including CRM platforms and Delphi or similar sales systems.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outside sales activities.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
