About the Role:
The Westin Westminster is seeking dependable and motivated Cooks to join our culinary team. We are looking for both prep cooks and line cooks to support daily restaurant service at Spotted Donkey as well as the hotel’s busy banquet and catering operations.
Our kitchen operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment serving hotel guests, local diners, and large meetings and events throughout the year. The ideal candidate has strong kitchen fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients and complete prep work for restaurant and banquet service.
  • Cook and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Set up and stock cooking stations before service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
  • Assist with banquet food production and large batch cooking when needed.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
  • Work closely with other cooks, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Monitor food quality and report any issues to culinary leadership.
  • Assist with cleaning, labeling, storing food, and closing duties at the end of each shift.
