Base Camp Bar & Grill is hiring line cooks for the summer season in Snowmass. We’re looking for reliable, fast-moving kitchen team members who can handle a busy line, prepare food consistently, and help keep service running smoothly during high-volume shifts.
This role is a great fit for someone who takes pride in clean, efficient kitchen work, follows recipes and standards, and can stay focused when the board fills up.
Position Overview

As a Line Cook at Base Camp, you’ll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to our recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to maintain quality, speed, cleanliness, and consistency throughout service.
What You’ll Do

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to Base Camp recipes and standards.
  • Work assigned stations efficiently during busy lunch, happy hour, and dinner service.
  • Maintain consistency with portion control, prep standards, presentation, and ticket timing.
  • Use kitchen tools and equipment safely, including knives, fryers, grills, ovens, slicers, and other station equipment.
  • Monitor food temperatures and use thermometers to ensure food is cooked, cooled, held, and stored safely.
  • Follow all food allergy and dietary restriction procedures to help protect guest safety.
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen coordinator, chef, managers, and teammates about ticket timing, product needs, quality issues, and delays.
  • Track station inventory during service and alert management when items are low or unavailable.
  • Keep your station clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service.
  • Follow health, safety, sanitation, and equipment-cleaning procedures at all times.
  • Break down, clean, label, store, and reset your station properly at the end of each shift.
  • Work as part of the team and help other stations when needed.
  • Perform additional kitchen duties as needed to support smooth restaurant operations.
