What You'll Do:
  • Prepares or assists in the preparation of a variety of foods in accordance with food and safety standards
  • Washes, cuts, cooks and or re-heats food items, weighing and measuring ingredients, according to recipes and instructions
     
  • Communicates with customers explaining food items, and taking food orders
     
  • Operates cash register, accepting money and credit card payments, making change for food and beverages served
     
  • Cleans and sanitizes dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment and facilities in accordance with approved housekeeping and safety practices and guidelines
     
  • Operates, cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment
  • Stocks and organizes food related items and kitchen supplies in refrigerators, freezers, walk-in coolers, and storeroom
  • Braising, grilling, sauteing, baking, roasting, frying, steaming, blanching as part of usual food prep
  • Ability to interpret and execute recipes and cooking instructions provided both verbally and in writing
     
  • Ability to set up standard serving line, hot line, salad bar, hot bar and grab and go items
  • Ability to prepare, transport and set up catering functions
  • Managing food and product ordering by maintaining accurate inventory and purchasing records, minimizing waste, and supporting budget management.
    Overseeing daily operations to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and operational standards.
    Completing and maintaining end-of-day financial and operational records in accordance with established processes.
    Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and operational needs.
     

 
What You'll Need:
 
  • High School education. Experience as a line cook is required.

  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
