ABOUT SLOAN'S LAKE LOCATION


Odell Brewing in the Sloan's Lake neighborhood, features a 10-barrel pilot brewhouse and scratch pizza kitchen. Our space includes two bars with 16 Odell tap handles and a rooftop patio overlooking Sloan’s Lake and the Rocky Mountains. The pilot system brews experimental beers available exclusively at Sloan’s Lake. What you can expect working here: an amazing team, high-volume, community forward, and an environment that prioritizes support and positivity.


POSITION SUMMARY


Come join the kitchen team for the summer at our Sloan’s Lake Brewery where you will work with our talented team to prepare our delicious scratch pizzas, salads, and other Colorado inspired dishes. Enjoy your shift beer on our rooftop patio overlooking Sloan’s lake and take in the special craft culture and vibe of our space. If you love being part of a busy, collaborative, and creative kitchen team, this might be the job for you!


Position Hours: Must have availability for both lunch and dinner shifts, especially on weekends. Schedule: 30-40 hours/week Wednesday - Sunday. We work to schedule 2 days off in a row each week.

Employment for the season will begin in June and end in early November


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Rotate on a daily basis from various stations to perform different tasks such as prep, salads, sides and pizzas

  • Work in conjunction with other line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that food is rotated on schedule from walk-in to prep areas and then on to the line for cooking

  • Assist with shift changeover to ensure that guest orders are filled before leaving

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment at all times by observing kitchen rules

  • Ensure that all cooking, prep and food handling areas and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at the end of every work day

  • Receive orders and ensure delivered items are placed in walk-in or dry storage

  • Abide by all company safety policies and processes

  • Communicates efficiently within a team environment

  • Create and cultivate an inclusive environment for all guests, co-workers, and the community

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting

  • Current food handlers permit of ServSafe certified is a plus

  • Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays

  • Models and promotes Odell values

  • Demonstrated positive, motivated, hardworking, and collaborative attitude required

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work long hours on your feet

  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and move up to 160 lbs

  • Ability to work in a hot, wet, and loud environment

  • Ability to crouch, bend, lift, climb stairs, and reach

  • Ability to remain focused and level-headed under demanding situations

COMPENSATION


Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Odell’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.


Hourly Rate Range (depending on experience):

$21.00 - $23.00/hr
