What is contractual programmatic advertising?

Contractual programmatic advertising refers to the use of automated technology to buy and sell digital advertising space, governed by specific contracts between buyers and sellers. It streamlines the ad placement process by utilizing software and algorithms, rather than manual negotiations, to efficiently target audiences and optimize ad spend. The 'contractual' aspect often involves private deals or guaranteed agreements, ensuring certain ad placements, inventory, or pricing. This approach can provide greater transparency, predictability, and control for advertisers and publishers compared to open programmatic auctions.
