To thrive in Contractual Programmatic Advertising, you need a solid understanding of digital marketing principles, data analysis, and experience with programmatic ad buying, often supported by a relevant degree or certifications. Familiarity with demand-side platforms (DSPs), ad servers, analytics tools, and certifications like Google Display & Video 360 are commonly required. What is contractual programmatic advertising?

Contractual programmatic advertising refers to the use of automated technology to buy and sell digital advertising space, governed by specific contracts between buyers and sellers. It streamlines the ad placement process by utilizing software and algorithms, rather than manual negotiations, to efficiently target audiences and optimize ad spend. The 'contractual' aspect often involves private deals or guaranteed agreements, ensuring certain ad placements, inventory, or pricing. This approach can provide greater transparency, predictability, and control for advertisers and publishers compared to open programmatic auctions.
