POSITION SUMMARY:

Under limited supervision, provides service agreement support by drafting proposals, negotiating, and finalizing contracts and preparing other documents as necessary. This skilled position is customer-facing, and issues faced may be complex in nature where considerable judgment, analysis and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Proactively monitor reports to prepare and send accurate equipment service agreement proposals directly to customers.

  • Monitor existing contract lifecycles and prepare renewal service agreements timely.

  • Responds to customer, Technical Service Representatives and Account Executives requests for service agreement proposals and other supporting documents.

  • Has routine and ongoing contact with customers, Technical Service Representatives and Account Executives, including following up on outstanding proposals to finalize the service agreements timely and increase service revenue.

  • Work with team to achieve service contract sales revenue targets.

  • Reviews with customer any agreement language revisions requested and accepts or rejects those changes with comments. This may be done independently by following department language change guidelines, or by working with the department manager and/or legal.

  • Professionally responds to a high volume of calls and emails from internal and external customers.

  • Ensures contract review is done for all service agreement purchases orders. Send finalized service agreements with purchase order acknowledgment emails.

  • Confirms all future billings are established correctly in the business system.

  • Sets up and maintains all service contract records in the business systems.

  • Develops and maintains detailed knowledge of company products to effectively respond to customer's service agreement requests.

  • Work with Customer Service, Credit and other Departments as needed to support order processing and other inquiries.

  • Other projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business or other related field.

Experience

  • Two years relevant experience or, in lieu of a degree, six or more years relevant experience

  • Contract administration experience preferred

  • Inside Sales and/or Customer Service experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in contract administration, including having or obtaining an understanding of contract law and terminology.

  • Demonstrated ability for attention to detail.

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.

  • Demonstrated skill and proficiency with mathematics, basic statistics, and deductive reasoning.

  • Written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and comfortably with all levels within the business organization as well as with partners and customers.

  • Ability to work independently plus demonstrate skilled team-oriented behavior.

  • Willingness to take ownership and accept responsibility for actions and decisions.

  • Skilled in various computer programs, SAP experience preferred.

  • Ability to solve complex problems and outline solutions clearly.

Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $60,000-$75,000 + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
