Contract Product Owner

LUX Infusion

Kansas City, KS

$110 - $125/hr

Full-time

Posted 14 days ago

Job description

See your work in a new light.

At LUX Infusion, we're reimagining infusion care to be more human, supportive, and connected. Inspired by lux—meaning light - we guide patients, providers, and partners through complex therapies with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

As a clinician-led, U.S.-based organization, we put people first - helping patients feel seen and supported through faster therapy starts, dedicated care coordination, and meaningful collaboration. Our commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and advancement (IDEA) is central to our culture, ensuring every team member feels valued and empowered to make a difference.

We're looking for a Contract Product Owner who wants their work to mean something—someone who brings care, accountability, and purpose to what they do every day.
Schedule:

  • 6–12 month assignment
  • ~40 hrs/week
  • 9am–3pm CST schedule

Why This Role Matters

This role plays an important part in helping LUX Infusion deliver a patient‑first experience—by shaping the systems and workflows that power how care is delivered across the organization.

In this role, you'll contribute to work that:

  • Helps patients feel supported through seamless, well-designed intake and therapy workflows
  • Supports clinicians and operational teams with reliable, intuitive systems that reflect real-world care delivery
  • Moves work forward in a growing, clinician‑led organization focused on better outcomes

Everything we do connects back to real people navigating complex healthcare journeys—and this role helps build the systems that make that journey clearer, simpler, and more connected.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

  • Translate complex specialty infusion workflows into scalable product designs that define how our platform behaves
  • Define workflow states, transitions, and system logic across intake, benefits, prior authorization, care coordination, and financial processes
  • Structure product behavior through clear business rules, decision logic, and data requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Engineering, Product leadership, and operational stakeholders (pharmacy, nursing, reimbursement)
  • Balance real-world operational complexity with system scalability and maintainability
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating system design into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with engineering to ensure accurate implementation of workflow logic, integrations, and state management
  • Support validation, UAT, and iteration to ensure solutions align with intended outcomes
  • Bring thoughtfulness, reliability, and follow‑through to your work
  • Identify and implement better ways to serve patients, providers, and teammates

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you bring:

  • 3+ years of Product Owner or Product Manager experience in healthcare technology
  • Deep experience working with complex, workflow‑driven systems
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations (specialty infusion, specialty pharmacy, HUB services, or related)
  • Experience with reimbursement workflows including benefits investigation, prior authorization, and copay assistance
  • Proven ability to translate complex, variable workflows into structured, scalable system designs
  • Experience defining business rules, workflow logic, and data requirements
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to think in systems—not just features or tickets
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in high‑complexity environments
  • A desire to be part of a team that values empathy and high standards

Bonus if you have:

  • Direct experience with specialty infusion workflows
  • Experience with workflow or case management platforms
  • Exposure to system integrations (EHRs, payer systems, or third‑party vendors)
  • Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, compliance, auditability)
  • Familiarity with CareTend or similar platforms

You don't need to check every box—we care just as much about how you show up as what's on your resume.

Why LUX Infusion

At LUX Infusion, we believe infusion care deserves more light—more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.

Here, you'll find:

  • Purpose‑driven work with real impact
  • A patient‑first, clinician‑led culture
  • Supportive, collaborative teammates
  • The opportunity to grow with a company building something meaningful

Come help us elevate infusion care—and see what's possible when care comes first.

Pay Range/Rate
$110—$125 USD
