Warehouse Forklift Operator - 1st Shift
It's more than a job
As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you're leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers' products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. From everyday essentials to seasonal items, what we do in Contract Logistics impacts businesses and communities around the world. At Kuehne+Nagel, your contribution goes far beyond the warehouse-it helps shape the flow of global trade.
You will report to a Supervisor and move product throughout the site and load or unload materials using an order/cherry picker, reach truck, sit-down forklift, or other heavy material handling equipment. You will work Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, and will be paid weekly at $22.97 per hour.
How you create impact
  • You will operate all three types of forklift equipment-order picker, reach truck, and sit-down forklift-to load and unload trailers, pick orders, and move or store products throughout the warehouse
  • Verify and receive materials in inventory
  • Your responsibilities may include palletizing and shrink wrapping
  • Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment checks
  • Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
  • Complete tasks in freezer and cold-storage areas as part of daily responsibilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating all three forklift types-order picker, reach truck, and sit-down forklift-is required
  • Can lift up to 50 pounds
  • Can work overtime or weekends
  • Can walk or stand for extended periods of time
