FS Transportation is seeking a motivated, energetic, and career-driven individual to join our Summer Internship Program.  This internship offers hands-on experience within the transportation industry, exposing interns to daily operations, driver compliance and safety programs, various relevant audits, and business functions that keep goods and people moving. This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience, work alongside industry professionals, and develop skills that can lead to future career opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

Intern responsibilities may include:

  • Establish transportation garage parts inventory with accounting, including organization and audits
  • Assist dispatch activities and trailer load planning
  • Support scheduling of truck Preventative Maintenance
  • Participate in driver safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support customer service and communication with drivers and clients
  • Attend meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
  • Complete special projects assigned by department leaders
