Job Description:
Baker Tilly is currently seeking a Strategy and Operations Consultant.
Strategy and Operations consultants work on a variety of projects primarily for government and not-for-profit clients that focus on management and organization assessments, process improvement, policy and procedure development, performance audits, and strategic planning. Consultants will perform a variety of analysis, support the preparation of client deliverables such as findings, recommendations, and draft and final reports based on input from clients through interviews, responses to online surveys, and relevant policy, procedure, and process documentation.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Policy, Accounting, or other related business major

  • Ability to commute as needed throughout the region; to include Baker Tilly offices

  • Ability to travel to client locations, including overnight stays, with travel expectations varying by department and office locations

  • Seasonal flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

  • There is currently no immigration sponsorship available for this position

  • Must be a current Summer 2026 Baker Tilly intern

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework in technology-related fields highly desirable

  • Master of Public Policy or Master of Public Administration preferred

  • Reside within a commutable distance of a Baker Tilly office and be willing to work on-site on a regular basis

  • Excellent customer service skills; Ability to understand own and others' emotions to achieve desired goals

  • Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills; Organize information and exercise well-reasoned judgment

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate confidence in decision making and poise in professional setting

  • Work effectively both as part of a team and independently

  • Highly motivated and embrace challenges as an opportunity to grow

  • Quickly adapt to a changing work environment, including the use of software, systems and technology

  • Outstanding organization and project management skills; Take responsibility for quality and timeliness of projects

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

The pay rate range for this job position is $62,000 to $90,840. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
