Description

Under the direction of and reporting to Quality, the Quality Intern learns the principals of quality during the summer internship.  This internship will be project based at the corporate office, data entry intense. The Quality Intern will be given various foundry related improvement projects, implementations, cost reduction, as well as the opportunity to be involved with day-to-day activities of the Quality Department. 

Quality Engineer Internship will begin June 2026, ending in August 2026. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

This position will focus on manufacturing process system improvements and related projects such as (but not limited to):

  • Update raw material standards.
  • Develop PFMEA.
  • Data collection of production and quality information as required.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects throughout all departments
  • Develop standardized processes / procedures / work instructions
  • Product handling and process flow improvements projects
  • Programming within Excel to automate data entry and data collection

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university studying toward a Business, Computer Science, Engineering degree.
  • Must have completed the freshman year in the major program of study
  • Must have and maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 2.75/4.0

Candidates nearing final consideration must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test.
