Resident Care Assistant โ€“ Assisted Living (6aโ€“2:15p) Day Shift Part timeย 

Mount Alverna Village, part of Franciscan Ministries,ย is a vibrant senior living community located in Parma, Ohio. We are a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing/ long-term care. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community. We are currently looking forย STNA's (State Tested Nursing Assistants)ย to join our team!

As a RCA you will

  • Follows the resident assessment in providing services to residents.

  • Assists in the updating of each residentโ€™s assessment.

  • Assists resident with personal laundry, if requested.

  • Assists in preparing residents for meals, serving meals, bussing tables duringย mealtimes and cleaning the dining room.

  • Assists with cleaning residentsโ€™ apartments.

  • Assists residents with activities of daily living:ย  bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene and mobility.

  • Reminds residents to take prescribed medication.

  • Encourages socialization among residents.

We are currently looking for RCA's ย to join our team! To qualify you need a:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population
  • One year of caregiving experience (preferred)
