Program Clinical Director - Addiction Recovery Services

Location: 610 Valley Health Plaza, Paramus NJ
On-site FT40:
9am-5pm with flexible evening hours
Salary:
$80,000

Job Summary:

As a Clinical Director, you will provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to assigned staff. Provide direct behavioral healthcare services for children, adolescents, and adults, supervise assigned staff and manage a limited caseload. In this role, you will ensure departmental goals are achieved and document service outcomes as part of CPNJ policies and procedures.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead, supervise, and support program staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee daily program operations to ensure quality service delivery, compliance, and effective workflow management.
  • Coordinate internal and external services to meet client needs and support continuity of care.
  • Manage a limited caseload, including assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, case management, and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure adherence to agency, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, clients, families, and community partners while providing leadership, mentorship, education, and advocacy.

What We Need to See:

  • Master's degree in social work or addiction counseling or other behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Must possess a full license (LCADC and/or LCSW) with a CCS required.
  • Dual licensure of LCADC and LCSW with a CCS preferred.
  • At least 3 years documented work experience with children and families
  • Experience in supervision staff in program and team meetings
