Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced, reliable Armed Security Officers for per Diem / as-needed assignments with our high-end clients located throughout Eastern Long Island. This role is ideal for highly disciplined professionals who value flexibility, premium work environments, and maintaining a polished presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a professional liaison between AG Security, venue management, and client teams.

Maintain secure perimeters, manage guest flow, and monitor designated areas

Respond promptly and appropriately to safety concerns, disturbances, or incidents

Complete detailed and accurate incident documentation when required

Provide discreet support for VIP guests when necessary

Maintain a professional, composed, and visible security presence at all times

Preferred Background & Qualifications:

Valid New York State Armed Guard License

Valid pistol permit

Up-to-date 8-hour annual & 16-hour OJT training certificates

Experience in law enforcement, private security, military or public safety is highly valued

Excellent situational awareness and communication skills

Ability to remain calm, clear minded, and professional under pressure

Professional appearance and demeanor

Evening and weekend availability preferred

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate: $35–$45 per hour, based on assignment and experience
