Job Summary

Our customers live on social media and in online and IRL communities, and that's increasingly where their purchase decisions get made. We're hiring a Community & Content Marketing Manager who loves this space to lead how asmodee shows up and sees the through-line across all of it - from creator and influencer partnerships, to TikTok Shop and social commerce, to always-on content production, and to the fan communities that turn players into brand advocates.

What will your role involve

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and scale an always-on creator and influencer program across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms - from first outreach to long-term partnerships
  • Identify, negotiate with, and manage creators at a range of tiers - from niche board game, hobby, and Twitch voices to broader lifestyle, family, and entertainment creators
  • Develop briefs that give creators creative freedom while protecting brand truth, and that are explicitly designed to drive product sales
  • Own contracts, FTC compliance, usage rights, and the processes that make the program scalable over time

TikTok Shop & Social Commerce

  • Drive the content and creator side of asmodee's TikTok Shop: affiliate creator recruitment, product seeding, live shopping programming, and campaign/promotional moments. Partner with sales and ops on shop setup, catalog, and fulfillment
  • Partner with the Ecommerce & Performance Marketing Manager on paid amplification of top-performing organic and creator content
  • Stay ahead of the social commerce curve - Instagram Shops, YouTube Shopping, and other emerging platforms - and bring forward a point of view on where to play and where to pass

Content & Community Strategy

  • Own the social and content strategy across owned channels - calendar, format mix, platform-specific voice, and publishing cadence
  • Show up in front of the camera when it serves the content, and be the kind of teammate who makes other people comfortable doing the same
  • Own content production end-to-end: leveraging UGC platforms and creator networks - ensuring we always have a steady stream of platform-ready content
  • Partner with brand, product, and vendor relations teams - as well as the studios and publishers we distribute - to land launches, key tentpoles, and evergreen franchise moments across social and creator surfaces
  • Act as a day-to-day brand steward across all owned social and creator-led content, ensuring asmodee's brand voice, personality, and positioning come through consistently
  • Coordinate with global (corporate) marketing to localize shared brand and social campaigns for the US audience, and advise global partners on how US creator and community insights can sharpen global brand priorities
  • Grow and nurture asmodee's community on the right channels, as a core driver of loyalty and word-of-mouth

Catalog & Assortment Strategy

  • Work closely with the Director of Commercial Marketing to shape catalog assortment across all organic channels - which SKUs we lead with, how we prioritize new releases vs. evergreen titles, and how the mix evolves by platform and season

Measurement & Reporting

  • Define and report against the core KPIs for the role: engagement, follower and community growth, overall reach and new-to-brand reach, and campaign-level efficiency including impressions/views, reach, comments, shares, watch rate, CPM, CPV, CPE), and content-to-commerce signals (creator-driven GMV and TikTok Shop revenue, treated as marketing indicators).
  • Build a clear feedback loop between organic, creator, and community performance and paid media, so wins get amplified quickly and insights shape broader plans.
  • Share learnings across the marketing team so that insights from creators and community shape broader brand and commercial decisions laddering up to their manager at DU level
What do you bring

Position Skills & Qualifications

  • On-camera confident, off-camera scrappy, you move quickly, and keep a steady output of platform-ready content flowing
  • Comfort working across the full range of social creative formats including short-form video, static, lives, and stories - and a point of view on when each serves the brand
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and brand judgment - you know how to protect a brand while letting creators sound like themselves
  • You are curious, collaborative, and optimistic - the kind of person who sees opportunity in ambiguity and figures out a path forward. You hold yourself to a high bar of professionalism, you care about the brands you work on, and you bring fresh ideas, not just execution, to the team
  • Occasional travel required for trade shows and meetings ~5% of time
  • A remote candidate may also be required to travel regularly to HQ in Minnesota.

Education/Experience

  • 4-6 years in influencer marketing, social media, creator economy, community management, or content-led brand roles, ideally with meaningful consumer or CPG experience
  • Hands-on fluency with social publishing, listening, and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Later, Dash Hudson, Brandwatch, or similar) and the workflows to run an always-on content and community program
  • Proven experience running creator/influencer programs end-to-end - including sourcing, negotiation, briefing, tracking and performance measurement
  • Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop or a closely adjacent social commerce platform, including familiarity with affiliate creators, live shopping, and product seeding
  • Strong native fluency across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with working knowledge of other key platforms for games and fandom (e.g., Twitch, Discord, Reddit). You instinctively understand why something works on each platform and stay ahead of format and algorithm shifts.
  • Experience managing content creators of all levels, a contractor, or agency partner
  • Hands-on fluency with editing tools like CapCut, and the ability to either produce platform-ready edits yourself or clearly direct a designer or editor to do so

Not Required; but helpful

  • Experience in toys, games, entertainment, hobby, or other passionate-fandom categories
  • Genuine enthusiasm for tabletop games - you'll have the chance to join team playthroughs, product brainstorms, and testing as part of how we build marketing at asmodee
  • Familiarity with community platforms like Discord, Reddit, and private Facebook groups
  • Experience briefing or producing short-form video content and working closely with in-house or freelance creative
  • Comfort working alongside a performance marketing partner to connect organic wins to paid amplification
