Job Description: We are a distributor of electronic components As an inside sales representative working within our Global Electronic Distribution Company, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by proactively identifying and pursuing sales opportunities with our designated client base. Your primary responsibility is to nurture leads and build relationships with potential and existing clients.  You will provide excellent service to our customers and assist them with any inquiries they may have. You will also be responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and maintaining and expanding our database of prospects.                                                   
Responsibilities:
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound website or phone lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in our company.
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Expectations:
The expectations for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Conduct outbound calls (Min of 65 calls each workday), emails, and other communication methods to engage with prospects.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and targets.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals by addressing objections and persuading customers to make a purchase.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Proven inside sales experience or relevant customer service experience.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a competitive spirit.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience preferred, the company will provide industry specific training.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Excel specifically), email and phone systems.
Work Hours
  • This is a full-time Hourly position. 
  • Work hours are between 8:30-5:30 with an hour for lunch. 
  • This position is eligible for commission in addition to a base hourly wage.  

This position reports to the CEO/President and Sales Manager. Frequent meetings will be held to make sure the company objectives are being met, that training is going well, and address questions and review goals.
