Join our highly talented Consumer Banking public relations team in an exciting and dynamic work environment.
As a Communications Associate in the Communications team, you will support local and regional communications efforts, help shape media strategy and storytelling, and partner with stakeholders to ensure execution aligns with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
  • Support execution of communications strategies tied to regional expansion and strategic initiatives, ensuring strong and consistent media presence in priority markets.
  • Draft high-quality press materials, media pitches, executive briefs, and supporting content that clearly translate business priorities into compelling external narratives.
  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day media engagement, including interviews, talking points, and follow-ups, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Monitor, analyze, and synthesize media coverage and industry trends, delivering actionable insights to inform communications strategies.
  • Maintain consistency in messaging and storytelling across initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise priorities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agency teams to support integrated campaign execution across earned and paid media.
  • Build and maintain media lists, proactively identifying relevant contacts and emerging opportunities aligned to business goals.
  • Support measurement and reporting of PR activity, tracking performance against objectives and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or journalism, with exposure to corporate and/or agency environments
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, compelling narratives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with media monitoring and reporting tools, with the ability to derive insights from coverage
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and follow-through
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners
