Ascella supports the federal government by modernizing the technology used by major federal agencies. As a Technical Communications Associate, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering and clear storytelling, helping our team articulate sophisticated IT solutions in plain, compelling language. Your writing will directly influence how federal agencies understand our capabilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Solution Storytelling: You will work with technical experts to extract complex ideas and transform them into clear, well-structured content for federal proposals and technical reports.
  • Information Synthesis: You will quickly learn new technical concepts (such as cloud computing or data analytics) and translate them into readable prose that can be understood by both experts and general audiences.
  • Brand & Culture Support: You will help manage our corporate voice by drafting professional, engaging content for our website, social media, and internal newsletters to highlight our team's successes.
Must-Have Skills (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, or a related field from an accredited college or university

Position: Technical Communications Associate
Location: Herndon, VA (fully remote)
Base Compensation: $50-65K**
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
