Seaman Corporation is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to join our Commercial team! This position will report to the Sr. Strategic Marketing Manager in Wooster, Ohio.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated B2B communications strategies for our commercial roof manufacturing and design business.  This role is responsible for building brand authority, supporting the sales pipeline, and engaging key audiences including contractors, architects, specifiers, and commercial building owners among many others.  The ideal candidate understands the building products industry and knows how to communicate complex product value in compelling, channel-appropriate ways.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and execute integrated B2B marketing communications plans that support brand growth, demand generation, and customer retention across target segments.
  • Manage brand voice and messaging consistency amongst all channels — including digital, print, social media, email, and PR.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content such as press releases, newsletters, website copy, case studies, and sales collateral.
  • Develop technical and commercial content such as product spec sheets, tech bulletins, white papers, AIA/CEU presentations and more.
  • Lead campaign planning, media strategy and creative execution from concept through measurement and reporting.
  • Establish campaign KPIs, monitor, analyze and optimize based on performance data.
  • Develop and coordinate trade show strategy and manage resources to ensure successful participation in industry events.
  • Own and manage the brand's B2B website as a primary lead generation and specification resource – overseeing UX enhancements, content strategy, product page updates, analytics and more.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and leadership teams to support go-to-market initiatives.
  • Seek co-marketing opportunities to build relationships with customers that enable successful growth outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and media contacts.
  • Manage the marketing communications budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related Business degree.
  • 5+ years of related marketing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content strategy.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience leading cross-functional corporate teams and managing agency and other external relationships.
