The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year.

What you'll do:
Eaton's Corporate Division is currently seeking a Manager, Communications Operations to join our team. This position can be based at our Beachwood, OH or Moon Twp, PA locations with hybrid work available.
Position Overview:
Eaton's Corporate Communications team plays a critical role in shaping and sharing the company's narrative and raising awareness of the company's bold growth strategy with internal and external stakeholders worldwide. As the function grows in scope and complexity, we are looking for a strategic and operational leader to help translate strategy and vision into action so that the global team are best equipped to deliver world-class communications that advance Eaton's business goals.
This newly developed role, Manager Communications Operations will drive greater clarity, accountability, and consistency in how the function operates across the enterprise - helping to streamline decision-making, managing process and governance, standards of work, supporting program management across enterprise and business communications activities, and ensuring accountability and high quality, impactful communications. This role is critical to the function and will play a pivotal role to improve collaboration and ensure the team's systems, priorities, and ways of working support our communications mission to turn strategy into impact by clarifying what matters, connecting people to purpose, and creating content that inspires action.
Job Responsibilities:
• Operational Leadership: Build and maintain consistent operating rhythms, governance, process, templates, and tools for our global communications team, that improves visibility into team priorities, capacity, and project health.
• Strategic Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor and right hand to the VP Communications, helping set and drive key priorities across the communications function.
• Program Management: Coordinate and track progress on cross-functional initiatives, workstreams and critical events, ensuring follow-up and delivery on key milestones.
• Governance & Decision Support: Support development, training and adoption of frameworks and technology for resource allocation, reporting, and project intake/prioritization.
• Innovation & Capabilities: Support the development of our AI roadmap for readiness and subsequent training and upskilling to drive greater efficiency and productivity across the function.
• Team Enablement: Drive adoption of best practices, onboarding resources, and playbooks to support a high-performing communications organization.
• Metrics & Performance: Partner with colleagues in marketing, finance, IT and others to have a good understanding of analytics and to develop dashboards and KPIs that measure communication impact and operational efficiency.
• Culture & Engagement: Help build a cohesive, collaborative and courageous team culture - planning team meetings, offsites, support strategy development and recognition programs that align with leadership goals.
• Day to Day functional management: Lead efforts to align, simply and get greater visibility to profit planning, budget and investments, with responsibility for subsequent 3rd party vendor management.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, marketing operations, or business management within a large, global matrixed organization.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH or Moon Twp, PA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Position Criteria:
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with demonstrated success building operational systems and processes.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across senior levels of leadership.
• Experience of managing multiple, large projects with conflicting time demands.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Experience with communications technology tools (project management, reporting, content systems) essential.
• Experience of AI preferred, or the ability to learn and execute fast.
• Up to 10% travel required
