Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney for an opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator with strong courtroom experience who is looking to handle complex, high-value matters within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial litigation experience, with a strong background handling complex business disputes from inception through trial. This attorney should be confident managing cases independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on sophisticated litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters

  • Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation

  • Draft and argue substantive motions in state and federal court

  • Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts

  • Provide strategic legal counsel and regular case updates to clients

  • Collaborate with partners on case strategy and trial preparation

  • Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations

Qualifications
