Commercial Litigation Attorney

Commercial Litigation Associate
Los Angeles California

A top tier global law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This role is well suited for an attorney in the early stages of their litigation career who is looking for hands on responsibility and exposure to sophisticated commercial disputes.

Qualified candidates will have:

  •  Two to three years of complex commercial litigation experience gained at a nationally or regionally recognized law firm and must be admitted to the California State Bar.
  • Strong legal research analysis and writing skills along with experience drafting near ready to file pleadings motions and discovery responses. 
  • Comfortable managing case files and taking ownership of assigned tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience assisting with depositions and trial preparation is preferred as is a genuine interest in developing courtroom skills and gaining stand up litigation experience over time. 
  • Exercises sound judgment communicates clearly and works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • 2000 billables hour requirement .  A portion of non-client billable hours (pro bono, firm citizenship, etc.) counts towards the overall goal.

The position offers exposure to high quality commercial litigation matters a supportive professional culture and meaningful opportunities for development and growth. 

Compensation is competitive with an estimated salary range of $235K-$260K depending on experience background and credentials.
