Compensation:

$60,000+


Responsibilities:
  • Stay abreast of all insurance coverage provisions, the overall insurance industry, regulations, and pertinent legislation to ensure customers understand their coverage terms and insurance services in the process
  • Visit with, follow up, call, and coach existing and prospective clients on commercial insurance policies as part of the company’s commitment to high-level personal attention and customer service
  • Gather all of the necessary information to evaluate the commercial insurance needs against available insurance products for each client, and negotiate the terms and conditions with key stakeholders
  • Serve as clients’ trusted advisors, in part, by developing risk management reports effective in reducing the need to file insurance claims
  • Implement a range of sales and networking strategies such as prospecting and cold calling potential customers to maintain grow customer base and provide outstanding service to your existing book of business; positioning the company as one with a competitive advantage at every opportunity

Qualifications:
  • Ability to advice clients on relevant policies due to a thorough understanding of commercial enterprise structures and procedures
  • Strong negotiation, research, analytical, and communication skill are necessary for success
  • Experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for commercial lines
  • Computer proficiency is required, including Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
  • A thorough understanding of all insurance company policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their costs and benefits
