Role: Licensed Commercial Lines Agent- Insurance

Location: Chantilly, VA

Duration: Full time with Tech Tammina

Tech Tammina is a growing insurance services firm dedicated to delivering tailored risk management solutions to businesses of all sizes. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Commercial Lines Agent to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a book of business consisting of commercial lines clients.
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Quote, bind, and issue new and renewal commercial insurance policies.
  • Work directly with carriers and underwriters to negotiate coverage and pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with state insurance laws and company guidelines.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records using agency management systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service including policy reviews, endorsements, COIs, and claims assistance.
  • Collaborate with account managers, producers, and other team members for seamless client support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active state insurance license in Property & Casualty (P&C)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance
  • Strong knowledge of commercial coverages such as GL, BOP, WC, Commercial Auto, EPLI, Umbrella, etc.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic, HawkSoft)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with various carriers and underwriting guidelines.
