Job description

Textile Color Sample Clerk

Location: CSC Building, Mount Holly, NC

Company: American & Efird (A&E)

Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

What You’ll Do

· Receive and review color requests from customers

· Determine if the shade of color is available

· Create and submit request for new shades

· Visually inspect and compare colors for accuracy and consistency

· Prepare and ship reels and color cards to customers

· Review QTX files for seasonal palettes

· Maintain accurate records using internal systems

· Support general GSCO team activities as needed

· Maintain clean and organized work areas

· Follow company safety, quality, and process standards

Required Qualifications

· Reliable attendance and punctuality

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy

· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Ability to distinguish color differences (color test may be required)

· Ability to work cooperatively with team members and internal partners

Preferred (Not Required)

· Experience with color matching, textiles, or quality inspection

· Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems (JDE a plus)

· Knowledge of FedEx/UPS shipping processes
