Job description

Urban Family Brewing is opening a new Seattle waterfront location in late summer 2026! Located on Alaskan Way, Urban Family Waterfront will go far beyond the offerings of our current brewery. We'll be slinging the beers you know and love alongside craft cocktails, local wines, coffee and grandma style pan pizzas by Chris & Sandra Curtiss.
We are looking for positive & creative people who want to work in a fast paced environment and share our passion for making the best food and drinks possible.
Experience:
  • Coffee experience required, management experience preferred.
  • Current MAST & WA food handler's permit required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for long periods plus lift and carry heavy items.
  • Ability to reach, bend and move quickly during peak busy times.
  • Reliable transportation.

Duties:
  • Manage the barista/cashier team, including hiring & training for both locations
  • Build schedules, ensuring enough coverage while allowing for time off requests
  • Meet with vendors
  • Fulfill weekly orders and inventory
  • Create coffee menu, update seasonally
  • Schedule equipment maintenance
  • Cover coffee shifts as needed, help with daily operations
  • Communicate with the kitchen for daily needs (i.e. syrups, garnishes, etc.)
  • Communicate between BOH & FOH & management team to ensure smooth service
