Overview:

Trail Town Coffee, High Point's coffee shop located in the heart of Downtown Chattanooga, is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as the Coffee Shop General Manager. If you have a love for coffee, a knack for leadership, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Managerial Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of Trail Town Coffee, including opening and closing procedures.

- Manage a team of baristas, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional customer service.

- Handle scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop.

- Implement and uphold company policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with management team to drive sales and meet financial targets.

Barista Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages and food, ensuring consistency and excellence.

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and processing transactions with accuracy.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment maintenance and restocking supplies.

- Uphold Trail Town Coffee's standards for product quality and presentation.

- Engage with customers to enhance their experience and promote loyalty.

Back of the House Responsibilities:

- Receive and manage deliveries, ensuring proper storage and rotation of inventory.

- Develop seasonal menu and new products.

- Monitor and maintain equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.

Front of the House Responsibilities:

- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming attitude.

- Create a positive and inviting atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy their coffee.

- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations.

- Ability to sale rock climbing gear including shoes, harnesses, and hardware (or willing to learn about rock climbing and climbing gear sales).

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in coffee shop management and barista roles required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
