Job description

Position Summary
The Account Executive plays a critical role in driving revenue growth for Durabuilt through a balanced focus on new market development and strategic account management. This position combines the energy of business development with the relationship depth of account stewardship, requiring an individual who can both prospect for new opportunities and cultivate long-term partnerships with high-value clients.
In this role, you will split your time evenly between identifying and pursuing new market opportunities alongside regional the Regional Sales Managers and serving as a trusted advisor to Durabuilt's most strategic accounts. You'll build relationships across all levels of client organizations - from front-line staff to executive leadership—while working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and mutual success. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven professional who thrives on both the hunt for new business and the craft of nurturing existing partnerships into long-term, high-value relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Expansion & Prospecting [50%]: Business Development
  • Identify and work collaboratively with Regional Sales managers to pursue new market opportunities and customer segments.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across industry; designers, architects, and builders.
  • Develop and execute prospecting strategies to drive pipeline growth.

2. Account Management [50%]: Strategic Account Management.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with top-tier Builder and multi-family developers.
  • Conduct joint business reviews, develop growth strategies, and align Durabuilt’s solutions with client objectives through consultative selling.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Scheduling, Installation) to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
  • Contract & Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations, prepare executive-level proposals, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent Durabuilt at trade shows, professional associations, and client events to strengthen brand presence.

Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in B2B account management or enterprise sales, preferably in construction, building, or development industries.
    • Proven success managing high-value accounts and influencing executive stakeholders.
    • Strong technical aptitude with windows, doors, and glazing products (asset).
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional business acumen and financial literacy.
    • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
 

Compensation & Benefits
