Client Service Executive

As a Client Service Executive, you will ensure delivery of exceptional service to Gallagher's clients by championing Branch initiatives and priorities, proactively managing complex accounts and mentoring team members. You will exemplify the highest ethical standards, promote ethical behavior and uphold The Gallagher Way.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Communicate resources available within Gallagher to fill white space needs (Pharmacy Practice, Retirement, GGB, HR Consulting, Voluntary Benefits, etc.)
  • Responsible for Client Service Cycle
  • Independently manage accounts increasing in complexity and funding type based on experience
  • Maintains direct account responsibility and is a strategic relationship manager and client liaison
  • Accountable for 95% retention for an assigned group of clients
  • Provide guidance, training and mentorship to new hires, account management, team resources, and anyone that needs assistance
  • Work closely with account management and resources to prioritize workflow, ensure accountability and follow-through
  • Independently address and resolve internal and external challenges
  • Keep clients well-informed of compliance related issues
  • Identify client needs, provide solutions while leading and managing strategic objectives for clients
  • Work with account management team to ensure compliance with local and corporate standards
  • Develop, cultivate and maintain positive relationships within the branch, with clients and with vendor partners
  • Leverage Gallagher resources, available tools, established work products and advanced knowledge, maximize efficiency and effectiveness in client deliverables
  • Manage client and vendor expectations to ensure timely delivery of requests
  • Drive and foster innovation. Don't be satisfied with the status quo. Generate new and practical ideas, always look to improve
  • Develops professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Trains and develops lower-level staff, manages and assigns work, meets deadlines, works collaboratively as well as independently
  • Supervises the sale of products/services by enhancing sales or services to prospects and existing accounts

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of client coordination and/or claims management experience
  • Appropriately licensed
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and MS Office
  • Prior experience designing and implementing productivity and client service improvements
  • Experience leading and managing teams (preferably within a matrix environment) within an operational service delivery or shared services environment
  • Deep understanding of professional and industry standards/practices
  • A knack for building strong client relationships. The ability to explain complex issues in simple terms
  • A focus on achieving goals and driving results
  • A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Feels comfortable in giving and receiving constructive feedback
