SUMMARYActs as an agent of broker assigned accounts for Private Client Services, including servicing and/or solicitation activities. Manages book of business and directs the work of a service team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReceive and develop new business leads from Producers, or identify and develop cross-sell opportunities;
Responsible for renewal business and soliciting additional lines of coverage;
Evaluate assigned client coverage portfolio to implement cross selling opportunities and solicitation of additional lines of coverage;
Service account and provide claims support as needed;
Analyze exposure base to identify program deficiencies and develop proper marketing strategies;
Complete applications, obtain quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, and prepare proposals and presentations;
Bind coverage, identify deficiencies, and determine appropriate level of coverage;
Meet with clients as needed or as directed by Producer;
Review accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact clients on receivable collections;
Serve as technical expert, assist department members to resolve complex issues;
Handle collection of fees, reconciling and resolving any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing;
Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enter and maintain complete and accurate information);
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Eight (8) or more years related work experience
Private Client experience preferred
Valid insurance license
Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
SKILLSProficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of wide array of private client customizable coverages
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good problem solving and time management skills
Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to build trust and de-escalate concerns
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
Ability to maintain confidentiality
