Job description

The Private Bank Lending Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to a Private Banker located at the Plaza building. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the loan origination process by working with loan officers, internal departments, clients, and third parties. Other client-related responsibilities include monitoring account overdrafts, maturing loans, past-due loans, loan covenant exception clearing, and facilitating miscellaneous requests including items needing research and new deposit account inquiries. Additional responsibilities include handling activities related to sponsorships, client entertainment, and other special projects.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, self-motivation, and professionalism. The person in this role will communicate frequently with Private Bank clients via email, over the phone, and in-person.
Position Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of Retail or Private Bank experience, or commensurate experience to include teller, loan, or bank operations. Previous administrative assistant experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated to learn, ensure deadlines are met, and deliver excellent client service
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to adapt quickly to new systems
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills. This includes the ability to write and speak in a professional manner and respond appropriately to inquiries in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
