We are the employer of choice as the owner and operator of Ball Arena, DICKโ€™S Sporting Goods Park, the Paramount Theatre, Denver Nuggets (NBA), the Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Colorado Rapids (MLS), KIMN,KXKL, KKSE (FM/AM), Altitude Sports & Entertainment, Major League Fishing/Fishing League Worldwide (MLFLW), Winnercomm, Outdoor Sportsman Group and SkyCam.

Nature of Work:
  • Responsible for building corporate relationships capable of driving impactful sponsorship and media partnerships for KSE and with our clients
  • Prospect, pitch, and close new sponsorship and media deals associated with the following properties: Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Mammoth, Ball Arena, Paramount Theater, KSE Development, and Altitude Sports & Entertainment (TV & Radio)
  • Works closely with the Leadership Team on building a positive sales culture within the department, emphasizing relationships, collaboration and meeting revenue goals
Examples of work performed:
  • Build and maintain a robust list of corporate relationships
  • Research and identify new sponsorship and media sales prospects to meet 7-figure new business goal
  • Develop and lead sales presentations with C-Suite partners and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Activation team and other internal KSE departments to execute against sponsorship and media sales deals
  • Maintain positive and clear communication between the Partnership Marketing & Media Sales department and other departments within KSE (i.e., marketing, game presentation, accounting, building operations, ticket sales, premium hospitality, legal, IT, television, radio, etc.)
  • Attending games and other events to entertain clients and build corporate relationships
  • Provide weekly reporting of sales metrics including pipeline generation, pitched deals, account updates, and relevant sponsor interactions

Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    • BS/BA degree in field or related field
    • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in field or related field
    • Professional, collegiate, and/or media related sales experience
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at time of hire
  • Preferred
    • Experience selling sports sponsorships
    • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driverโ€™s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
  • Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently & in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing environments
