Job description

About Puttery
Puttery is a modern entertainment destination that blends the energy of nightlife with the fun of tech-infused mini golf. Each location features immersive, themed courses, curated cocktails, and chef-inspired menus, creating an experience that’s equal parts competitive and social.

We’re redefining how people connect by combining play, style, and hospitality into one unforgettable atmosphere. At Puttery, every visit is a reason to celebrate.
Job Purpose
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving event revenue through both rapid lead conversion and proactive outbound business development. This role owns the full sales cycle: from prospecting and lead response to booking, execution coordination, and repeat business development.
This is a multi-centric, externally facing role for a sales professional who moves quickly, works intelligently across channels, and actively embeds themselves in the city to build sustainable, long-term clientele. Success in this role requires urgency, creativity, discipline, and the confidence to represent the Puttery brand in market.
Responsibilities
  • Respond rapidly and professionally to inbound event leads across all channels, maintaining high conversion standards and response-time expectations
  • Qualify leads efficiently and guide clients through event options, packages, pricing, and timelines
  • Manage the full booking lifecycle, including proposals, contracts, deposits, and confirmations
  • Maintain accurate, real-time data in CRM and sales tracking systems
  • Forecast event revenue and manage a disciplined sales pipeline
  • Actively generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship-building
  • Represent Puttery in the local market through site tours, industry events, community partnerships, and brand activations
  • Build relationships with corporate planners, social event organizers, hospitality partners, and local organizations
  • Identify creative, non-traditional methods to get in front of potential clients and decision-makers
  • Convert one-time events into repeat and recurring clientele
  • Serve as a visible brand ambassador for Puttery in the city
  • Advocate confidently for the brand, experience, and value proposition in external conversations
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to align promotions, event execution, and guest experience
  • Stay informed on local market trends, competitors, and event demand
  • Partner closely with operations, culinary, beverage, and floor leadership to ensure seamless event execution
  • Communicate event details clearly to internal teams to deliver on client expectations
  • Participate in post-event follow-up to drive retention, referrals, and future bookings
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, nightlife, or experiential venues
  • Proven ability to manage high lead volume while maintaining quality and urgency
  • Demonstrated success in outbound sales or proactive lead generation
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable representing the brand externally and operating independently in the market
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and confident working across CRM and sales systems
  • Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt sales techniques to different client types and environments
Working Conditions
  • Full-time role with a mix of on-site, office, and off-site market engagement
  • Evening and weekend availability may be required based on event schedules and client needs
  • High-energy, guest-facing environment with performance-based expectations
  • Regular movement throughout the venue and participation in city-based outreach
Perks amp; Benefits
  • Competitive base salary + commission opportunity tied directly to event revenue performance
  • High-visibility role within a growing entertainment and hospitality brand
  • Autonomy to sell creatively: freedom to prospect, network, and build business using diverse sales strategies
  • Access to venue spaces for client entertainment, tours, and relationship-building
  • Career growth opportunities within a multi-location, expanding organization
  • Team-oriented culture that values initiative, accountability, and results
  • Employee discounts and venue perks (food, beverage, and experiences)
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits, plus paid time off and holidays (where applicable)
